WINEMAKER'S NOTES

Jakot is a testament to meticulous winemaking. Crafted from hand-picked Friulano grapes, it undergoes a 22-day skin-contact maceration, revealing a deep, orange-yellow hue. Aged for two years on lees in old barrels, this orange wine exudes earthy, mineral qualities. Its enviable texture, fresh yet complex, sets it apart, marking it as a true embodiment of the Friuli terroir.

STORY

Located in the heart of Italian Friuli region near the Slovenian border, Dario Prinčič's winery is a beacon of natural winemaking. Embracing biodynamic methods, Prinčič crafts only 4,000 bottles annually from his 8 hectares, including rare gems like Ribolla Gialla and Sauvignon Blanc. His signature 'skin contact' wines, synonymous with the finest orange wines, showcase a deep connection to the land. Each hand-harvested bottle is an unfiltered expression of pure, earthy flavors, inviting you to taste the unique essence of Friuli.
