WINEMAKER'S NOTES

Dolia by Domaine Hauvette is a unique blend of Marsanne, Clairette, and Roussanne, this wine is matured in concrete eggs, reflecting the mineral-heavy terrain under the Alpilles mountains. Hauvette's commitment to biodynamic farming methods further enhances the authentic expression of the terroir, making Dolia not only a reflection of the landscape but also of her innovative and environmentally conscious approach to winemaking.

STORY

Situated in Saint Rémy de Provence, Domaine Hauvette, established by Dominique Hauvette in 1988, stands as a beacon of innovative winemaking. On its 17 hectares set against the Massif des Alpilles, Dominique cultivates vineyards on clay and limestone soils, embracing biodynamic principles to express the intrinsic qualities of the terroir. Her approach includes aging wines in cement amphorae to enhance their spicy structure and mineral elegance, producing atypical wines for the region. Dominique’s low-intervention methods and use of traditional techniques ensure each cuvée captures the unique essence of Provence with an exceptional purity and complexity.
